
A little about the delectable, delicious cut called beef brisket.
This was cooked for 7 hours on 275 degrees.
This cut comes from around the neck/chest area on the cow.

Brisket (front quarter)
The neck and front end tends to be used a lot which means stronger muscle so slow cooking and longer cooking is best for these cuts :
Neck roast
Blade roast
Shoulder roast
Rib stew
Blade steak
This cut is one of my most favourite cuts of beef.

BBQ Beef Brisket
A delectable slow food guaranteed to please a crowd
Ingredients
- 1 diced onion
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups bbq sauce
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp bbq seasoning
- 1 5 -7lb beef brisket
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees.Mix bbq sauce, water, onion powder, water, bbq seasoning, diced onion in a bowl and stir.
- Add brisket to a large roasting pan.Pour barbecue mixture over brisket, turning and flipping repeatedly until it is all covered.
- Cover roaster with foil. Roast for 6- 7 hours.
