Oreo, our 10 year old Holland Lop rabbit and I “hopped” (I know but I couldn’t resist;) over to Wilson’s Home Hardware Building Centre to do some Easter shopping.

I have teamed up with the fine people at Wilson’s to feature some products they carry which help me and my family live more simply: fishing gear which helps us catch our own food, kids’ gardening supplies for giant sunflowers, and die cast toy tractors for the grandsons’ Easter baskets.

Of course, we had to swing by the pet aisle to grab some grooming supplies for Oreo to look her best at Easter.

Then, it was on to look at new Yeti bowls (where Wendell declared rabbits much better than dogs! Oreo agreed) and we decided that the durability of the brand meant we would buy once and it would last. Our kinda product!

Then we spied some beautiful cotton baskets to use for Easter, and had a little chat with Rose, the florist, who was hard at work with some greens, Oreo was eyeing up.

I don’t know who was happier at front cash: my son because pictures were done and he can’t wait to set that minnow trap or the young lady snuggling Oreo madly.

Oreo did not mind one bit, either. It was a great success of a shopping trip and we know you’ll find some fun things to fill your baskets at Wilson’s Home Hardware this week as well .

Happy Easter from all of us at Yellow Brick Road Farm! .
