
Turnip Beet Pickles (ferment)
One beet cut into 1 inch strips
One turnip cut into 1 inch strips
Add 2 tbsp sea salt and cover with filtered water.
Add weight or spring or just watch to make sure everything stays below brine.
Let sit on counter for 2-7 days
Store in airtight container, cool and dark place where it will keep for months.
I love this with chicken.
